As part of the acquisition of Xpresstrade, optionsXpress wanted to re-launch their blog about daily futures news and analysis. I was assigned to update the look and feel of the blog and transfer it over to the Movable Type platform. This design incorporates making the optionsXpress brand more visible, while at the same time, providing informative futures commentary.
I also researched and implemented a system for sending daily emails to subscribers to the blog's newsletter. I use Zookoda because of their ability to send custom HTML emails and automatically pick up new postings via the blog's RSS feed. Here's an example of an email, showing an additional promotion for Refer a Friend.
